What is Hoodoo Heritage Month?

Hoodoo Heritage Month was coined by Mama Rue and the Walking The Dikenga Collective of Chicago, IL. Hoodoo Heritage Month is observed yearly during the month of October. The month long celebration is complete with Hoodoo Holy Days, calendars of suggested activities, and community events to celebrate the lineage of the Hoodoo religion, it’s history and it’s contemporary practitioners.
